Brand Polish & Multi-Page Website Redesign

Margot Daley is a personal branding photographer based in Toronto. She came to us with an old Squarespace 7.0 site that needed a refresh. Migrating to 7.1 would give her the advanced features and ease of use she needed to update her site herself going forward.

Polishing the Brand

Margot already had a strong logo, so instead of starting from scratch, we focused on refining and expanding her brand assets.

We created a favicon and custom social sharing image that pulled from her logo's aesthetic to keep her brand recognizable across platforms.

We also refined her color palette to better reflect her style and chose new font pairings that brought more elegance and readability to her brand.

The result is a polished, cohesive brand identity that works beautifully across all her materials.

Redesigning the Website

For the redesign, we looked at some of Margot's favorite photographer websites and pulled elements she loved into something uniquely hers.

Using custom CSS, we created a Flexbox 50/50 split layout that gives the site balanced, visually engaging sections.

We also applied CSS auto-styling to images, section dividers, buttons, and videos so everything feels cohesive and polished across every page.

The best part?

Margot can easily update her content while the design stays consistent and professional looking.

SEO That Actually Works

Along with the redesign, we optimized her site for the keywords "Toronto personal branding."

She went from page 3 of Google search results to the 3rd result. That's the kind of visibility that brings in clients.

From start to finish, the whole project took just 2 weeks.

"I loved collaborating at every step, from inspiration, to the final execution of details on my website. Nadine had so many ideas and web principals that I never really thought about that made my final website look so much better than I could have imagined. Overhauling a website sounds so daunting and difficult but Nadine made it so easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend her for anyone ready to take their website to the next level!"
